City, village and industry

For city, village and industry

The WAVE method gets rid of unwanted weeds on hard and semi-hard surfaces by means of 100% hot water. The WAVE machine has been developed for weed control in urban areas, villages and on industrial estates. Therefore the maximum weight of the WAVE , including 1,000 litres of water, never exceeds 3,500 kg (7.700 pounds (lb)). In combination with the broad tyres this ensures a limited tyre pressure of 2.8 kg/cm² at the most. Due to its compact construction the WAVE machine is relatively small. A minimum width of 1.20 m (3.94 feet) and a maximum width of 1.60 m (5.25 feet) thus enables the WAVE to be perfectly suited to all kinds of circumstances.

Right to the wall

WAVE, right to the wall

The range of the advanced dosage system is such that it can swing 30 cm to the left and 70 cm to the right and in combination with the articulated steering enables the machine to reach every spot that needs treatment. In combination with the side sprayers the WAVE machine can even remove weeds right to the walls of buildings and along railings and fences. There is no other method that can achieve that without doing damage to machine or obstacles. Besides, spots that, due to inaccessibility, have not been properly cleared, like benches and bicycle racks, can be treated with the hand lance of the machine.

On every surface

Usable on every surface

Due to the low wheel pressure of 2.8 kg/cm² normal hard surfaces as well as semi-hard surfaces can be negotiated. Moreover, the low water pressure (2 bar) has the advantage of leaving the fillings of the spaces between the paving stones (sand, grit, etc.) intact and not leaving any traces of spraying on semi-hard surfaces. As a result, semi-hard surfaces do not need to be reprofiled after being treated. The use of hot water makes a follow-up treatment unnecessary because the scalded remains of the plants wilt and decompose.

Damage and safety

Damage and safety

The use of hot water with a low, standard water pressure prevents damage to the paving elements. This is also true for porous water-permeable surfaces and surfaces of natural stone. Hot water can be used without causing damage to parked cars, walls and lampposts since the WAVE machine, unlike brushing machines and machines used for clearing ground cover, does not cause small pieces of stone, etc. to be dislodged and fly around. A further advantage of the WAVE method is that it does not pollute the air with dust. Unlike the use of other thermal methods, the use of hot water excludes the risk of a fire. The safe operating speed in combination with the reversing camera gives the operator the right overview for manoeuvring. When the machine has passed, the water cools down directly so that there is no risk for the environment.

WAVE. All things considered, the best in weed control
